The Head LRSC Participates in the Conference on Dialogue Between Chinese and Arab Civilizations

The Head of the Libyan Center for Research and Studies participated in the 11th Conference on Dialogue Between Chinese and Arab Civilizations, held on November 17-18 in Beijing, China. He contributed to the third session, entitled “Strengthening People-to-People Understanding Between China and Arab Countries within the Framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.” The conference opened on Monday morning, November 17, 2025, with a speech by Mr. Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, followed by a speech by Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. Approximately 100 participants attended, including government officials, parliamentarians, experts, heads of research centers, representatives of political parties, media figures, and civil society leaders from China and all Arab countries. The conference sessions included extensive discussions on the scheduled topics, and a joint declaration was issued and adopted by the attendees at the closing session.

The conference program was accompanied by field visits to several industrial and economic zones, museums and cultural centers in three Chinese provinces (Beijing, Shanxi, Guangzhou) that lasted until November 23, during which participants learned about the modernity of the Chinese experience in industry, the economy and poverty alleviation, the use of modern technology in the service of society and urban planning for cities.
