Researchers and academics from Libya and Tunisia participated in the symposium, including students, colleagues, friends, and admirers of the doyen of Tunisian historians. The book, 248 pages in length, features a comprehensive introduction by Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Obeid (former Tunisian Minister of Education). The Libyan Center for Research and Studies is honored to present this commemorative book as a gift to historian Abduljalil Al-Tamimi on his eighth birthday. The eightyth is a token of love, appreciation, and loyalty in recognition of his continuous and sincere scientific efforts in studying the modern and contemporary history of Libya, and the research space he provided for historians to write about the history of the Greater Maghreb in the three journals he publishes in his prestigious institution, and the books and studies he presented, in which he spent the prime of his life, in service of scientific research, and in the hope of building a better tomorrow for our Maghreb region. May God Almighty preserve him and grant him health and well-being. On this scientific occasion, the Center extends its thanks and appreciation to all the researchers participating in the symposium, for their commitment and loyalty, so that the book may come to light today. It was supervised in its collection, editing, and coordination to appear at this level that befits the honored figure by Mahmoud Al-Ghatmi and Jamal Ahmeida from the Libyan Center for Research and Studies.
