The efforts of the Russian National Library in St. Petersburg to preserve Arabic-Islamic manuscripts.

The Center presents a special episode featuring Professor Dr. Denis Tsypkin, Director of the Russian National Library.
The episode discusses the history of the Russian National Library and its global standing as a cultural and intellectual institution, its latest systems for digital archiving of manuscripts, and its efforts to preserve and protect Arabic and Islamic manuscripts. We also highlight collaborations with Arab and international researchers and distinguished scholarly studies that have addressed this heritage, with a special focus on prominent figures from the Arab world—particularly from the Maghreb—who have visited the library and contributed to enriching this field.
